    Everyone has a story worth telling! Just Write is a welcoming and inspiring space for seniors to put their memories into words. Whether you want to share your adventures, lessons learned, or special moments with loved ones, this program will help you bring your stories to life in a fun and supportive way.

    What Is This Program About?
    We will guide you step by step to write about your life in a way that feels natural and enjoyable. No writing experience? No problem! This isn't about perfect grammar-it's about preserving memories, emotions and wisdom in a way that feels right for you.

    How it works

    • When & Where: Fridays January 9 - February 27 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Located at  Confederation Park 55+, In the Board Room
    • How Long: 8 sessions, 3 hours long
    • Group Size: 10 people Max

    Seated Yoga for Pelvic Health

    Our pelvic health is a powerful, whole-body system - it doesn't work in isolation. It is linked to our feet, hips, core and jaw - as well as how we move & breathe each day. We can improve our pelvic floor function at any age!

    These yoga classes will incorporate gentle movement, breathing exercises along with pelvic floor awareness while seated or standing & using the chair for support. We will also use the wall for some additional supported movements. This pelvic health session provides a comfortable environment where each individual can participate at their own level.

    Props needed: Yoga mat, 2 yoga blocks, folded blanket

    Course Overview:
    In this relaxing and creative spring series, you will explore acrylic painting through seasonal inspiration, creative interpretation and decorative design. Using ideas drawn from spring landscapes, floral compositions, nostalgic motifs and abstract painting, you will create artworks that combine color harmony, texture and personal expression.

    Each session introduce a new theme while helping you build confidence with composition, layering and acrylic techniques. You will complete one finished artwork per calss in a supportive and welcoming environment.

    This course is suitable for all skill levels, whether you are new to painting or continuing your creative practice. Materials are provided.
